Camp
Ramah in Wisconsin is located in the heart of the beautiful lake region
of Northern Wisconsin. It is 18 miles north of the resort community of
Eagle River, 350 miles from Chicago and 240 miles from Minneapolis. The
camp is situated on 150 acres of beautiful forest, on the shores of clear,
spring-fed Lake Buckatabon.
There are three full-size
basketball courts, five tennis courts, and facilities for volleyball,
soccer and softball. Activities include:

Aquatics: Red Cross Swim instruction program including
lifeguard training and competitive swim.
Boating: kayaking, sailing, canoeing and rowing.
Arts Program: painting, drawing, ceramics, woodworking,
photography, jewelry making, sculpture and batik.
Outdoor Education: nature hikes, canoe and hiking trips,
cookouts, Jewish ecology and campfires.
Dance: modern, Israel fold and choreography.

Drama: acting, scenery, musical productions, costuming, and choreography.
Music: choir, instrumental instruction, small Orchestra, performances
and Hebrew singing.
Radio: broadcasting, short wave and other technical skills.
Sports: basketball, tennis, softball, volleyball, aerobics,
flag football and soccer.
Synagogue Skills: Torah, Haftarah, Eicha and Shir HaShirim
trope, learn to lead weekday and Shabbat services.

Camp Ramah in Wisconsin
features a new staff building, with such facilities as a lounge and a
pool table – definitely a place to call your own!
Camp Ramah in Wisconsin offers a Tikvah Program for Jewish adolescents
with learning disabilities, emotional disorders, mild mental retardation,
and other developmental disabilities. The Tikvah campers are included
in all the programs at Camp Ramah and are also involved in special educational
training.
